Hey, using eBooks, eReports and eCourses is a fantastic way
to build a list.
You can use these things as an "incentive" for joining your
affiliate program, as a "thank you" for visiting your site,
a "bonus" when someone purchases a product/service from
you. The possibilities are endless!!
Many eBusiness people use them, however, some are making
TWO HUGE MISTAKES when they do use them. Here is
what they do...
1. They upload these things to their site and publish the
download link WITHOUT capturing an email address and
name.
The WHOLE POINT of using this "stuff" is to build a list.
YOU CAN'T MARKET TO A GHOST!!! Instead of uploading
your items to your server and just publishing the download
link, work smarter... Set yourself up with a mini-site where
you can direct people to and for the PRICE of their email
address and name, they can have the download link sent
to them.
NOW you have a warm body to market to AND you know
what they are interested in.
2. They don't take advantage of customizing eBooks, etc
with THEIR OWN links.
You want your marketing efforts to pay off for YOU. If
you are giving away an eBook with someone else's links in
it then all your marketing is paying off for the person
whose links are inside. WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT??
There are tons of people out there falling into that trap.
However, right now YOU'RE my concern. If they want
to not bother spending a little extra and purchase a
customization license that's their downfall. Actually,
we want those people because if they distribute our
eBook with our links inside, great...they are marketing
for us.
But YOU..no, no, no my friend. You are into working
smarter...not harder. So ensure that if there is a
customization license and if you can afford it, then
upgrade to it. Get your links, site name, url and in
some cases ads in the books, courses and reports
you are giving away.
THEN encourage those who do request your reports,
etc to give them away to their networks, downlines and
associates. Your links and info are laced within and
when people open it they see YOU and THAT'S WHAT
YOU WANT ;o)
Here are two products which have customization licenses
available, which won't break the bank.
1. "How To Turn A Simple Sign Up Process Into An...
Unstoppable Income Stream." (eBook)
http://www.profitspace.com/book.html
2. "How To Guarantee eBusiness Success" (eCourse)
http://www.profitspace.com/success/cust.html
A "mini-site" is included so all you have to do is paste in
your autoresponder address or web form and you are good
to go.
Viral marketing is the most cost effective marketing tool
we have. An eBook or eCourse laced with your links inside
can end up in more places than you could dream possible,
and of course reach on your own.
Use viral marketing to its FULLEST and get it pulling for
you and your ebusiness ;o)

Free Traffic Course - Day 5
Online statistics shows that about 10rom online visitors make immediate purchase on the web site. Other 90f visitors may leave your web site forever, without making any purchase. Do you want to lose 90f web site visitors that were driven with so many efforts?
No!
Internet marketing has time-proven tool that catches targeted visitors on your web site and transform them into loyal clients. This tool is known as autoresponder.
Autoresponder is very similar to a mailing list. But its aims and functioning differ.
Mailing list is used to send the messages to its subscribers; autoreposnder GATHERS subscribers and then sends them messages.
For example, you got to the web site about University scholarships, and you are not ready to buy anything from this web site right now. But you see a pop-up window or subscription form saying something like, "Sign up here to get free and fresh updates on new scholarship programs". Hm, you start thinking. If you are a targeted visitor and feel motivated to get a scholarship, you will surely subscribe to free updates about new scholarship programs.
So, you submit your name and email to subscription form of the autoresponder. You get free updates, and web site gets your name and email to the base of subscribers. Having your name and email, good marketers will find useful products and services to offer you in future. This is when web site is starting to get lifetime customer value from its visitors.
But be careful: do not terrorize your subscribers with useless offers. Otherwise they will unsubscribe from your list, and you will lose them forever.
Would you like to grow the base of your web site subscribers? Yes! Are these subscribers targeted? Yes! If they did not make a purchase on your web site from the first visit, it does not mean they will not do it in future. You just need to try other approach or other offer. The subscriber is bound to your web site now.
This is only the general idea about how autoresponders work. Look below to see how they can bring money to your web site.
DIFFERENT WAYS TO MAKE MONEY WITH AUTORESPONDERS
Using autoresponder you can:
1. Sell your own products and services more effectively.
2. Get more re-orders from your clients - if you sell something which needs ordering from time to time (health products, movie tickets), the autoresponder will keep in touch with your clients.
3. Generate more upsells - if your products/services have updates and upgrades, autoresponder will help you to motivate clients for buying the update or upgrade.
4. Create cross-sells - you can sell any complimenting products and services that have any relation to the major offer on your web site. Thus you give a bigger collection of offers, help your joint-venture partners to make more money and get your commission from it. And you have all rights to ask your partners for the same favor: sell something on their web site. In any case, you make more money.
5. Recruit and train affiliates - autoresponder is a perfect tool for educating and motivating your subscribers. They get more info with each new message, and you increase your web site credibility.
6. Ask for feedback from your clients - make it a usual practise to ask your clients once a month what they need from your web site. You do not even imagine how many good ideas they will give you for free.
7. Minimize refunds - when your customer gets more and more info that explains the real benefits and advantages of the offer bought from your web site, this client has less and less desire to ask money back.
WHAT FEATURES SHOULD A GOOD AUTORESPONDER HAVE?
You can use the maximum profits from marketing potential of autoresponder, only when this autoresponder has the following features:
- you can get unlimited number of autoresponders;
- you can add new autoresponders or edit the existing ones;
- you can choose and set up the mailing list to save the subscribers of your autoresponder (the system will save new subscribers to any mailing list you wish);
- you can program autoresponder by days, scheduling to send its messages the way you wish;
- you can make autoresponder messages in TXT and HTML formats, and add attachments to them (audio or even vide files);
- you can use a huge collection of macros elements to highly personalize your autoresponder messages;
- you can get full statistics about sent messages, new subscribers, unsubscribed users of autoresponder;
- you can import and export the subscribers to any base, or save them in a separate file.
When autoresponder has these features, you can easily turn a simple subscription process into a new source of loyal clients on your web site.
The benefits of using autoresponder are evident: you do not visitors from your web site, you grow your base of subscribers and clients, you can motivate your subscribers and client to get more targeted for your offers. Plus, autoresponder automates the whole process of gathering the names and emails from your subscribers, saving them into a database, emailing them under the set delivery schedule, transferring the clients from one base to another, etc.
So, if you do not have autoresponder on your web site, you are losing your profits. Think it over...

FrankenSpam: A Story of Love and Marketing Ignorance
In a remote corner of Transylvania, in a large and gloomy dark castle, there lived a lonely creature.
This creature lived alone and was not of ordinary human origins. He had been created by Dr. FrankenSpam, a mad webmaster who’d foolishly thought he could create the perfect human marketing machine. However, the experiment failed when it was discovered that the creature had no aptitude for using the Internet.
His dream of making millions from email marketing shattered, Dr. FrankenSpam accepted a teaching position at the University of California at Berkeley and abandoned his castle and his creation.
The creature languished on in solitary exile, afraid to show it’s face at the local village. His scary appearance frightened anyone who happened to catch a glimpse. Everyone that is, except a bright young woman touring Transylvania on vacation.
Several locals had told her about the strange creature who lived in a castle.
One day, she decided to investigate for herself. The woman, whose name is Karen Cash, gets directions to the castle and heads out.
By the time Karen arrives at the castle it’s nearly dark, which gives the place a spooky air. Undaunted, Karen boldly climbs the huge steps and rings the doorbell. Much to her surprise, the creature answers the door and gives her a lopsided smile.
“How do you do? I’m Karen Cash,” she said.
The creature grunts out his name.
“FrankenSpam. Good to meet you.”
The creature lets Karen in, which is the beginning of a beautiful and strange friendship.
One day while visiting with the creature (who she calls Frankie), he shows her a large book containing notes written by his creator, Dr. FrankenSpam. The notes detail FrankenSpam’s plan to use the creature’s large brain and nimble fingers to create a non-stop super Internet spammer.
The creature was capable of sending out thousands of spam messages a day and could quickly dominate the Internet marketing world—generating millions of dollars. That is, if he could somehow be taught to fall in love with surfing and working on the Net.
Karen Cash knew she had stumbled onto a potential gold mine for herself and immediately started scheming a way to get Frankie to do her bidding and start spamming for dollars. This proved to be easier than she thought, since Frankie had fallen in love with her.
In FrankenSpam’s lab, Karen sat Frankie down in front of the high-speed computer system and began teaching him how to set up free email accounts and write fast-buck marketing copy.
Soon, Frankie became a real pro at surfing the net and signing up for countless affiliate programs to promote. By sweet talking the creature, Karen got Frankie to quickly learn how to tap into his natural spamming abilities.
Almost overnight, Frankie became an enthusiastic spammer. He sat at the computer day and night utilizing sophisticated spamming software that sent out thousands of spam messages to unsuspecting email addresses.
He intuitively knew how to use autoresponders to avoid the angry flame messages. Frankie was happy. This is what he had been created for! Finally, Frankie felt he had a true purpose in life, and a true friend in Karen.
A whole month went by and Karen’s plan seemed to be working perfectly.
However, one day when she checked her online bank account, she was astonished to find that all she’d made was a few thousand dollars.
What happened to the millions?
Karen studied her affiliate stats. Although Frankie’s spam was blanketing the entire Web, they were only signing up 1 out of every 10,000!
Dr. FrankenSpam’s plan was a complete failure. There were no riches to be made from email spamming. Plus, it made a lot of people very angry. Spam cops were always on their tail trying to shut them down.
Karen broke the news to Frankie, but he didn’t understand. This is what he was created to do. How could it not be good?
When Frankie woke up the next morning, Karen was gone. She left him a note saying she was going home to write a book about her travels, and they’d never see each other again.
Heartbroken, Frankie sat down at the computer and stared at the screen.
He didn’t feel like spamming anymore—not with Karen gone. What would he do with his life now?
Frankie aimlessly surfed the Internet until he came across a web site that caught his attention. A place where he could make new friends regardless of what he looked like. Frankie signed up.
That was the best decision he ever made.
Frankie discovered online dating and met a woman named Peggy. Peggy moved to Transylvania where they got married, sold Transylvania trinkets from their web site, and lived happily ever after.
Oh. And by the way,
Frankie FrankenSpam never spammed anyone ever again.
THE END

eMail Follow Up System in 3 Easy Steps!
By Denise Ryder Marketing Coach
http://www.profitspace.com/coach
-----------------------------------------------------------
The most important asset a eBusiness owner has is...
A LIST
Actually the more lists you have the better off you are. BUT
the key isn't just having several general lists, you want to have
as many targeted lists as you can.
What do I mean by that??
Well, ummm for all you health and nutritional product people
out there your targeted lists could be based around each of
the specific products you offer. Those in themselves make up
a "list."
If you are selling information products, then the theme or
topic of each of your books/courses can make a sub or
targeted list.
Don't look at your products/services as a group, break them
down (if you can) and think of them in terms of a targeted
group of people (or list). For each group you will send out
the initial information request and then your follow up will
involve specific information catering to that group.
That follow up is pretty straightforward. I mean if you
have a product that is based to help migraine suffers then
you wouldn't later send a mailing to that list about a new
product that deals with asthma...they don't relate or tie
in. You keep sending that list information relating to
suffering from migraines.
There is one other list that you could be building and
that is one that involves a one-time request for information.
For example; if you decided to create a list of 50 eZines
Directories, a person hits your autoresponder once to get
that list. Or how about the second part of your two-part
article - again a person that hits your autoresponder is
after that one-time request.
How on earth do you follow up with these people, when
they didn't subscribe to receive regular mailings?
That is what we are going to go over today. A 3-step
follow up system which will turn these one-time requests
into yet another viable list for you ;o)
So, let's get at it ;o)
Step 1 - First or Initial Contact
This is the information that you are firing out after
they have hit your autoresponder.
You have two ways you can go here. You can either:
let the person that you are going to send them future
information that is RELATED to the information they
have requested here. Or, you don't say a thing at all.
Best course of action is to tell them upfront...be totally
open and honest from the get go. Remember people do
business with people they know, like and trust and if
you aren't trusting...you've lost them.
Having said that, you still need to give them a chance
to opt-out of receiving more information...here is a
sample to give you something to look at and use.
SAMPLE...
Hi ~~NAME~~ (remember personalize)
Just wanted to send you out the information you requested
about the 55 no cost marketing resources. I have listed them
all below and I hope you find them useful.
In a few days I'll be sending you over a special article
that I wrote "The Key to No Cost Marketing." Look for that
to come in about three days.
I've spent a lot of time researching marketing tactics and
looking for good solid resources that work. I'll be glad to
share this information with you, if you want me to.
If you don't want to receive these additional strategies and
resources then you can click the REMOVE ME link below.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Look forward to sharing this information with you, take
care and good luck with your eBusiness.
Sincerely,
Denise Ryder
So what we have here is your prospect receiving the initial
information that they requested AND we have let them
know that there is more to come and if they don't want to
receive it then, they can of course, opt out.
Most will stay because you have given them a good reason to
(remember it's the WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME), a preview of
what's to come.
Step 2 - Automate
You're probably thinking, yup I know I need an autoresponder
in order to do this. Of course you do, that goes without saying.
But, you need to see the bigger picture here. You have a prospect
that has received the information and you have indicated that there
is more "to come." That "more to come" is what I am referring to.
Make sure you have it already to go and uploaded into your
autoresponder.
Yup, ya got to think ahead...there is no room for "fly-by-the seat
of your pants" marketing here. Sit down and plan out a 7 message
follow up for this list and have it loaded and ready to go.
Leave some time between each mailing...something like between
7-10 days. Remember this isn't your general list, this is a targeted
one with specific information and of course specific offers geared
to them.
Through these 7 messages your goal is to keep building upon the
information that they prospect originally requested. You know they
are interested because they hit your autoresponder in the first
place, right ;o)
So give them the good, solid content RELATING to the original
that they requested.
In our example above I would keep providing them with information
concerning no cost marketing resources. I would send the article
as I said I would and then the other 6 messages would perhaps
look at what to spot in a good no cost marketing resource, how
to test a resource, how to track the results, and how to use
the information they have gathered to make money. All the
while I mention that there is STILL MORE to come and of
course provide them with the opt-out option at all times.
I also can weave in my offers and because of the way I
have set my system up, these offers come in the form of
recommendations, there is no hard sell tactics happening
here.
Step 3 -Special Mailings
Ok, we have a sublist with a theme of no cost marketing
resources. As I release a new product (based on this theme)
or find more resources to share, then I will send out a
special mailing with this information.
The idea is that these are "special" so they are not to
be used as some form of "mass or blast" marketing tactic.
What we have done with these people is built a good solid
relationship with them. We have sent them fantastic info
that they can use and we keep building by providing them
with even more information and over-delivering. Why would
we want to then ruin all that by blasting them every week...
WE DON'T.
These special mailings should be limited to using them
twice a month. It stands to reason that some months you may
not use them at all. But in this case the idea is that it is special
so make it good. Keep the momentum of good solid information
and tie in a good offer.
A good rule of thumb is to think in these terms...
A good mailing is something that benefits the list member and
the list owner. It has to be a win/win for both or it just won't
work.
When you are thinking in terms of lists, you have to realize that
a list can come from anywhere. It is just a matter of seeing it.
As I mentioned above, think of your products/services as little
individual lists. Break them down and build a sublist around
each products theme.
Do it right and you may find a little niche where you didn't
realize it…now how cool is that!!
If you want to gain some further insight into a few more tactics
like this one, then read "How To Become Wildly Successful
Online." This eBook will give you some great ideas.

all below and I hope you find them useful.

Do you make this big mistake writing your articles?
In the marketing world if you want to be a prosperous individual, you need to get the skill of copy writing, immerse into this skill is mandatory, this proficiency is vital ingredient to survive in there, every sales letter must be carefully “designed” going from the headline through the P.S. As a marketer, if you want to go far away, you know the best way to get targeted traffic to your website: writing articles, this expose you at your client's eyes like an expert in your field, or maybe you are a knowledgeable people writing with other goals in mind. Anyway, whatever the reason is, you need to hold your reader's attention up... Here is the first and most important part of your article: the headline, but do not get me wrong, I am not saying the headline is your article... I want to say: if someone read your headline and it doesn't grasp his/her attention, is over... you know this true. The headline is so important and is just the tip of the iceberg!... Acquire the skill of creating catching headlines, believe me this is priceless, it gives you enormous advantages, of course if you master it. Why the headline is important?. now listen to this carefully: Headlines are your first contact with the reader, is your chance to persuade him/her to go on reading your article, is the first door and must work really well. It is the opening of your message, let me warning you: if you fail to recognize the importance of the headlines you are lost... The headline is so crucial that is knew as the king in the copywriting world, why it must be different when you write an article?.... I do not believe there is difference at all, after a long time of creating articles I realized the supreme importance of this writing communication component. Maybe you do not agree with me at this point, but let me tell you something: headlines create excitement, enthusiasm, interest , to achieve this, they must be seductive, appealing, desirables, if your headline succeeds, you have a receptive reader, it's up to you to give him/her motives to deep into your article. Do you feel the headline's importance?, is the opening of your article, but at the same time introduces your topic, attract attention and compelled the reader to go on. Work in your headline, carefully choose the words, remember one word maybe the difference: success or failure. Headlines sell ideas, concepts or knowledge, whatever intention you have, you are trying to influence, to “hypnotize” and “force” people to go through your article from the beginning to the end. The marketers know that “Your first 15 words count for more than the 15,000 words that follow!”, in a sales letter the weight of a headline goes from 50% to 80%. Could you bring this knowledge and apply it when you are writing your articles?, I think so, you can write articles that accomplish these features: seductive, interesting and knowledgeable. For all these reasons, is so important you consider headlines as a prominent part of your writing skills, you need them, it doesn't matter if you are selling, preparing a presentation, sending emails, getting an autoresponder course, writing a book, ezine, articles... in short... if you write, this is for you. I would like to tell you more about this interesting skill, but, for now my mission is accomplished, the curiosity factor is in you, work in your headlines and you literally will be sucking readers: hypnotize your audience, great headlines and quality content.... that is it.

Do you have a long-term partner yet?
By now most people have realized that the Internet is not just about trying to make a quick buck.
Most scams and get-rich-quick schemes have quickly faded and couldn't produce results if their life depended on it.
So you are now left with coming up with strategies that will keep your business around for the long-term.
If you are planning on having affiliate revenue be part, or all of your income, you need to find programs that you can hope will be around for a long time.
It can be quite painful when a company you've promoted for many months decides to close their affiliate program, or they decrease commissions so far down that it isn't worth your efforts to promote anymore.
When this happens you are left with starting over trying to find someone else that you can hope to earn a decent income from.
When searching for an affiliate program that you hope to make your long-term partner, here are some things to look for:
High-quality products or services - You can quickly destroy your reputation online by promoting shady companies with poor products. ALWAYS try to associate with companies that have great products.
Companies that have YOUR interests in mind - Unfortunately there are many companies out there that simply view their affiliate programs as a cheap advertising and branding vehicle. Seek companies that view their affiliates as partners. You can tell when you have found one by looking at how the program is structured and what they offer in the way of support for affiliates.
Programs paying commissions on multiple products - You will find that sometimes your visitors will purchase items that you had not recommended. Your income can build much faster when you get paid a commission for those sales as well as sales of products directly promoted by you.
Lifetime commission structure - It takes time, effort, and money to send visitors that actually become customers of the affiliate program. Lifetime commissions allow you to get rewarded for future purchases of your customers. This model is great and you should really consider promoting at least one program that offers it.
Some great programs that I highly recommend looking at, and ones that fit most, if not all, of the above qualities:
Marlon Sander's affiliate program:
http://www.affmatch.com/marlon
(High commission structure on many different products that sell EXTREMELY well.)
Ken Evoy's SiteSell affiliate program:
http://www.affmatch.com/sitesell
(One of the top affiliate programs offering great products that over-deliver on their promise of value.)
Yanik Silver's affiliate program:
http://www.affmatch.com/instant
(Great products that sell well and offer high commissions.)
You can also do quite well promoting programs that offer recurring revenue. This is where you promote services that require a monthly fee.
With this type of program you get paid a percentage of those monthly fees for as long as the customer remains with the company.
Some great companies with recurring commissions are:
Aweber Autoresponders:
http://www.affmatch.com/aweber
(Autoresponders have caught on like wildfire and are very easy to sell.)
Hosting.com:
http://www.affmatch.com/hosting
(Selling website hosting is one of the top ways to make money on the Internet, and most programs offer to pay you from each month's payments from customers you send them.)
Match.com Personals:
http://www.affmatch.com/match
(Personals ranks up there on the top as well, offering you a percentage of the fees paid by customers that want to meet others online.)
The most important thing to take from this article is that you must start looking for long-term partners and not waste any time trying to get rich over night.

Creative Ideas To Profit With Autoresponders
An interested visitor who has been strolling through your
site has finally come to just what she is looking for and
is about to make a purchase. It's a sunny afternoon, and
her cat, who happens to be sitting on the moss under the
visitor's large fifty-year-old snow-rose bonsai tree,
suddenly jumps down, and the priceless tree topples over.
In the blink of an eye, your visitor exits your site, and
your sale is dust - unless you have had the foresight to
utilize an autoresponder that has captured her email
address. If you have installed an autoresponder, you can
then follow-up with her, and in all probability, make the
sale when the poor woman has finished repotting her
precious bonsai.
Autoresponders are remarkable, versatile programs that do
so much more than just automatically answer your email.
Here are a few ideas that will help you to creatively and
productively use your autoresponder to transform the casual
visitor into a profitable customer. Use your autoresponder
to:
1. Publish a newsletter. Certain quality autoresponders
will manage subscriptions and follow-up with interested
prospects. Your newsletter can keep your visitors informed
about your services or products, while building your
reputation as a credible expert in your particular
business.
2. Publish a newsletter only for your affiliates. Inform
them of current sales you are running and of promotional
material that your affiliates can use themselves to
increase their commissions. Include tips, advice, and
techniques that your affiliates can use to successfully go
out and promote your business.
3. Write reviews. Cover books, software, music, e-books,
movies, etc., and put each review in an autoresponder.
Review your affiliate programs, using a link to your
affiliate's page in your autoresponder.
4. Distribute your articles. Writing and distributing
targeted articles is a powerful tool to build your business
credibility, bring traffic to your site, and increase your
sales potential. If your articles contain valuable
information, many editors will print what is known as a
resource box for you. A resource box contains your bio and
a brief description of your service or product. It can also
contain your autoresponder address. Let's say you've
written fifty articles. Put them on separate autoresponder
accounts and create a master list that contains the titles
of each article, the autoresponder address, and a brief
abstract. Then promote your master list. Additionally,
include your publishing guidelines so your affiliates can
add their articles to your list, increasing the number of
writers who are represented in your article list.
5. Create mailing lists. Inform subscribers to your
articles when you've written new ones that they may want to
publish in their own newsletter or website.
6. Automate your sales process. Use an ad to insure
repeated exposure of your message, which has been proven to
effectively increase sales. In your ad, put your
autoresponder address where a visitor will be exposed to
numerous marketing materials. This multiplies the chances
of converting visitors into customers. For example, if
you're selling a particular product, put testimonials about
how spectacular it is on your autoresponder, and add a
detailed, enticing description of your product.
7. Distribute advertising. Let's say you sell advertising
on your website or in your newsletter or e-zine. Set your
autoresponder to send the information about rates and how
to place an ad automatically to all prospects' email
addresses. Then have your autoresponder follow-up. It can
also send notification of any special deals you are
currently offering.
8. Distribute an email course. Each day, have your
autoresponder send out another lesson. Just be sure that
each lesson has quality content - not a sales pitch. Your
content will do the selling for you, and will do it much
more effectively. You can include tips centered on a
different topic for each lesson, illustrating how your
product will benefit the reader. Include the tangible
benefits the visitor will reap by purchasing your product.
Make sure to include a paragraph or two at the end of each
lesson enticing your prospect to consider making a
purchase.
9. Automate a reminder about your service or product after
a visitor has completed your course. This will increase the
possibility of sales from visitors who have taken your
course but are dragging their feet about actually making a
purchase. You can also use these reminders to promote new
products or services, and the products and services of your
affiliate programs.
10. Distribute free reports. This gives your visitor an
idea of the type of information you can provide and the
quality of your product or service. Make sure these reports
are not sales letters or you will more than likely lose a
potential customer than gain a sale.
11. Create trivia quizzes on your site and place the
answers in an autoresponder. Your visitor will then be
motivated to request your autoresponder, and you will have
a record of the visitors' email addresses who took your
quiz. Or create a contest and have any visitors that enter
send their responses to your autoresponder. Your
autoresponder can be set-up to send them a confirmation of
their entry.
12. Offer a trial version of your product. Give your
prospects a sample of your ebook, course, software,
membership, etc. People who are exposed to a little taste
often end up wanting the whole pie. You can also capture
their email addresses when you offer them a free trial from
your website. Set up your autoresponder to give
instructions on how to obtain their free trial, and then
make sure to follow-up to try and close the sale.
13. Link to hidden pages on your autoresponder. For
example, a hidden page could be your affiliate page that
contains graphics, promotional articles, and text links
that interested affiliates can make use of. Inform visitors
that they may have free access to your affiliate page by
simply requesting your autoresponder. You will then gather
a list of visitors who may be interested in becoming your
affiliates.
14. Use an autoresponder on your order page. Post a request
form for visitors to be notified of special offers or
discounts in the future. This creates a very effective
mailing list that contains the names of people who are
already your customers.
15. Put your links page on your autoresponder. It should
contain up to fifty links that would be of particular
interest to your visitors. Make sure to add your own
promotional copy at the top or bottom of this page.
Now that you have proof that autoresponders can be used
creatively, see if you can come up with some brilliant
ideas of your own!

Create Your Three Letter Autoresponder Follow-Up
A woman told me this week, "Your advertising is wasted if you don’t follow-up on your leads." Her solution is to use a multiple autoresponder that sends her prospects a new sales message very few days.
People need to see your ad message several times before they buy. Those who buy on the first ad have already made up their mind after seeing someone else’s ad. Yours had the good fortune of reaching the customer at just the right time.
You can greatly increase sales with a three letter multiple autoresponder. There are a number of places to get these autoresponders free (fastfacts.net, getresponse.com, smartbotpro.net) and others who sell up-graded service at low cost.
Make your first letter briefly present your offer. It should be designed to get attention and bring in those who tend to quickly make up their minds to buy.
Your second sales letter should arrive the next day. Make it longer and filled with details. About 70 percent of consumers are folks who need ALL the details before they will purchase. List your features and connect them with the benefit your customer will get from those features.
Your third sales letter should be scheduled to arrive several days later. Start with "Successful people are busy. I know you probably saw my earlier messages, considered them, but haven’t yet had time to respond."
Then give them another rundown on your offer. Bring in a fresh angle so it doesn’t seem like they are reading the same letter they saw a few days ago.
More than three sales letters tend to get ignored. If you want to send more, have your fourth and fifth letters arrive weeks or months later. Scheduling a new letter to arrive every month can catch a prospect when they’re ready to buy.
Offer Your Own Email Course
One of the most successful marketing techniques I’ve found is offering your own course via autoresponders. I introduced my Make Your Website Sell course (yes, before MYSS came out) and it is still getting gobs of sign-ups every day.
Here is how to create yours:
1. Pick a problem that lots of your customers struggle with. In my business the big stumpers are getting a site that sells, finding a way to handle email, figuring out search engines, and finding low-cost ways to advertise effectively.
A course on any of these is guaranteed to bring lots of interested prospects and customers (and you can bet I’m plugging my ads here and there during the course).
Your course could be on how to complete a basement, how to avoid an IRS audit, how to give your kids straight teeth, or anything else that customers often ask about.
2. If you don’t write or have time to pen your own articles, look for others who have written on the topic. It is perfectly legal to put their ideas in your own words (always proper to give them credit).
You can also quote the article. It is best to ask in advance, if your course is for commercial purposes. Start your article, then say expert Jane Doe has some valuable information. Include a few paragraphs of what Jane wrote. Be careful not to use so much you give away her entire article and spoil her ability to sell the information.

Combine Email Marketing with Your Affiliate Programs The Right Way!
Affiliate Programs are huge today and rightly so. They provide
people with the opportunity to make a residual income with very
little cash output, and of course everything is already done for
you. All you have to do is promote.
Now, this article isn't focusing on Affiliate Marketing, but it
does suggest a few effective ways for maximizing YOUR LIST
building potential.
You already know that in order to be successful online, you
need a list...and when I say list, I am referring to YOUR LIST.
(You will see why I highlight YOUR in a sec).
Makes sense...right? I mean which would you rather have, a nice
warm, accepting list of individuals with whom you have built a
good relationship with and who are receptive to your
recommendations?
or....
Having to continually go out and drive new traffic to your site
in order to make that sale?
Think about the process you go through for a second. You
join an affiliate program, use their ads and place classifieds
in newsletters. The link you use is sending prospects to your
affiliate "page."
From there, your affiliate program gathers into the "system"
only those who; buy or sign up. You are only able to build a
list based on those two criteria and because of that, you are
missing out. You are missing out on those "others" who have
been to your page and maybe aren't ready to buy, but would
be if ONLY they had some additional follow up contact with
you.
Even if you wanted to contact these "others," you aren't able
to because your affiliate program doesn't allow you to make
any changes to your (or rather their) web page. Which means
that you are not able to maximize on your list building potential.
So, how do you fix this problem?
There are actually a few things you can do. First of all, let's
start with your mindset. This is the key. What I want you to
do from here on out is always ask yourself this one key question...
"How/what must I do to add on to "MY List."
If you are using classifieds to market your affiliate program,
then ask yourself that question and instead of sending prospects
to your affiliate page, send them to a Report/eCourse instead.
See what just happened? You have now added a name to YOUR
list, instead of sending them to your page and risk the chance of
losing them altogether.
There is another way to help you build your list and market your
programs at the same time. Create a theme-based web site of your
own.
I hear the groans. I know one of the reasons affiliate programs
are so big is because they have a page for you. But let me explain
why you really need a site of your own.
How many of you have been playing a little leap frog...jumping
from program to program because nothing is making you money?
It's ok to admit it because you aren't alone, there are 1000s of
people in the same boat.
Stop and think for a second the effect all this jumping is having
on you and your chances of making a residual income:
1. You are not focused, and
2. You are ALWAYS starting over from scratch.
Aren't you tired of that?
That is the whole intent of having a site of your own. One that
is based on a theme and loaded with good, quality content. One
that allows you to build a list that is YOURS.
You don't have that full capability with an Affiliate Program.
If you quit the program or "knock on wood" they bite the dust,
and trust me it does happen. Then all that hard work you put into
marketing that program has been lost. You don't own the page, you
don't own the list, so as a result you are always starting over...each
and every time.
But...
If you had your own way to build your list and added your own
web site, then you have COMPLETE OWNERSHIP. Your list is
YOURS so if you quit a program not a problem, the bottom line
is that list (your baby) is going with you.
Now, don't go into panic mode and think that I am saying Affiliate
Programs are useless...That is NOT what I am saying. What I am
trying to get across to you is...YES participate in them, but work
smarter...not harder.
Doesn't that make sense to you?
Excellent, now about YOUR site...
Visitor's are looking for CONTENT...NOT a hard sales effort
being thrown at them. What are YOU more receptive to, someone
who provides you with good information so that you are better
able to make an informed decision. Or, someone who is trying to
hard sell you. If you go for the good information choice, then
what makes you think the rest of us are any different?
So, you have a site of your own. A site that is not an exact
replica of your affiliate page but one that is theme-based
with content that relates to your program(s). One that has
the opt in tools like a Report/eCourse or Subscription that
is building a good list for you.
Let me give you an example of what I mean.
Let's look at an Affiliate Program that sells leads. You make
a commission off of the lead packages you sell.
On YOUR SITE (not your affiliate page) you could have a
theme built around "leads." Your focus could cover:
1. How to generate your own leads,
2. What to look for when purchasing leads,
3. How to follow up with leads,
4. What to follow up with,
5. Teach someone the proper way to follow up...
Through your content you have taught your prospect everything
they need to know about leads. You have developed a trust with
them and by sharing this information you have become the "lead
expert" in their minds.
Wrapped within the content of your various information, of
course, your Reports/eCourses and maybe even a Subscription
to your newsletter... these are your tools for building your list.
Also built within your content you mention your affiliate program
in a non-threatening or hard sell way. In doing so, you now have
a prospect that is open to clicking to your affiliate page and
buying what you have to offer.
You even have the potential to add income streams. Looking at
the list above you could sign up for an autoresponder program,
because a prospect is going to need that…and who better to get
it than through you, right?
The main thing is, what started as one income stream (your
original Leads Program) has now developed into 2-3 income
streams.
And of course, let's not forget about YOUR LIST that follows
you wherever you go.
Does that make sense now???
By all means participate in Affiliate Programs, they are an
excellent source of commissions for you. But, market them
the right way, through your own site, where you can plug-in
opt in tools to build a list and build a relationship with ALL
your visitors and prospects.

Break On Through To The Other Side
Heres ten simple yet very effective marketing ideas that can help you breakthrough to higher and more consistent profits.
1. Create a directory of web sites on a specific topic. Give people the option of adding the directory to their web site by linking to it. Put your business advertisement at the top of the director's home page. This technique will get lots of people to linkto your web site and give you free advertising.
2. Do you have a product or service that doesn't sell good? Offer it as a free bonus for someone else's product or service. Get free advertising by placing your web site or business ad on the product or in the product package.
3. Trade autoresponder ads with other businesses. If both of you send out information with auto-responders just exchange a small classified ad to put at the bottom or top of each other's autoresponder message.
4. Start a free tip line. Offer a free daily, weekly, or monthly tip recorded on your voice mail. The tips should be related to your business. Include your ad for your web site or business at the beginning or end of your message.
5. Exchange content with other web sites and ezines. You could trade articles, top ten lists, etc. Both parties could include a resource box at the end of the content.
6. Offer to insert ads into your product package for other businesses. Just ask, in return that they do the same for your business. You should only trade insert ads with businesses that have the same target audience.
7. Offer a free daily class in your web site's chat room. The class should be related to the subject of your business or web site. This will get people to visit your web site everyday.
8. Do you have a product that doesn't sell good? Offer it as a free bonus for another businesses product or service. You'll get free advertising by placing your web site or business ad on the free bonus.
9. Place different emotional response ads for the same product or service all over your web site. One ad may hit their hot button to buy more than another ad.
10. Publish your e-zine in e-book format. You could offer a larger number of articles per issue. It also allows you to include graphics with your ezine.Your advertising revenue would increase because you could charge businesses for large color ads.

Boost Your Traffic and Profits with Content
Are you aware of how vitally important and valuable CONTENT is to
your online business? In fact, content can do more to build your
business and profit*s than just about any other resource or
service available.
Following is a list of 5 key ways that content can help build
your traffic, subscribers, and customers starting today!...
1. Boost your search engine ranking and daily visitor count by
posting keyword rich articles and content on your web-site. For
example, if your business involves offering products and
services related to fitness, posting fitness related articles
and content will attract unlimite*d prospective customers on a
regular basis!
2. Generate double or even triple the number of newsletter
subscribers you do currently, simply by offering content in the
form of "special reports" or manuals as bonuses for
subscribing to your publication. People love freebies, so give
them what they want and watch as your results increase!
3. Create an automated cashflow by using content to formulate
multi-part email training courses with related web-site or
affiliate links "sprinkled" throughout each course. Use an
autoresponder service to automate the delivery of your training
course (such as a 5 part training course delivered over a 5 day
period).
Training courses can also serve as excellent bonus offers for
your prospective newsletter subscribers.
4. One of the most important keys to a successful online
business is not JUST having a list of mailing list or newsletter
subscribers... It's about building a trusting relationship with
your subscribers (ie, "cultivating" your list)...
By sending informative articles (content) to your list on a
regular basis you will establish yourself as an expert on your
topic of business, as well as gain the trust of your subscribers
over time. As a result, your subscribers will be EAGER to take
advantage of your "paid" product and service offers. (Just
make sure that you NEVER take advantage of the relationship you
develop with your list by offering products or services of poor
quality just to make a quick buck!)
If there is one "constant" in Internet marketing, it's this:
A cultivated list of subscribers is as good as money in the
bank. Write that down and never forget it!
5. Another excellent way to generate no cos*t traffic is by
submitting ready-made articles to "content hungry" web-site
and newsletter publishers with your "resource box" attached. A
resource box is nothing more than a little 3-6 line "bio" about
you and/or your web-site - including a link to your site (or even
instructions on how to subscribe to your newsletter)...
When submitting or offering your article(s) for reprint
purposes, just make sure to specify that each article is to be
reprinted "as is" with your resource box attached.
...Even one article can go a LONG way towards generating no cos*t
traffic and visitors for you. Just imagine your article being
sent out to a newsletter subscriber base of 100,000 individuals
- many of whom will be reading YOUR included resource box and
clicking on your URL to learn more about what you have to offer!
Well there you have it, 5 sure ways to build your online
business exponentially with the help of articles and content...
With the declining effectiveness of many of the online
advertising methods that we've relied on in past years, content
is only strengthening its position as the ultimate KEY to
generating unlimite*d traffic, subscribers, and customers!

Becoming An Affiliate Marketer
is an interesting and exciting process. There are so many programs out there for you to promote. You should think seriously before you commit to any one program.
Choosing A Program
To become an affiliate marketer, you must choose the right affiliate program to market. This can be done by reviewing as much information as possible about the affiliate program you are interested in joining. You can start also by reviewing what other affiliates have to say about the program before you sign up.
When choosing to become an affiliate marketer, there are certain things you should be aware of. For example, you should know what percentage of the sale of the affiliate
product you will receive. This can range from as low as 10% to 75% of the sales price. Generally, the higher the commission, the better for you.
After you have chosen a program you beileve will be profitable to you may elect tohave a website designed to showcase your product in a professional manner. But why, I ask, would you choose to spend the time, effort and money to re-invent the wheel?
Many affiliates are now providing a professional sales letter for your use and/or provide a redirect to the sales site. This makes sense for both the seller and provider.
Using An Autoresponder
Once you have selected an affiliate program, you, yes you must promote your program. It is a good idea to set up an opt-in list and autoresponder from the beginning. There
are many, many autoresponders available. Do an online search and comparison to choose the one best for you and the products you promote.
Using your autoresponder you can generate of list of names and email addresses of people who have purchased the product from your web site, or a list of people interested in finding more information about the product. You can use this list to send them information about product updates or to send information about new products you are promoting. This is an easy way to advertise, but you must do so legally. SPAM is illegal. Again, do the research and learn the legal way to do your e-mail marketing.
Track and Record
This is something most new affiliates fail to do when they first start out. It is the simple concept of keeping track of where your traffic is coming from and what areas that you
promoted to are generating the most sales. In this way you can see where most of your business is coming from and turn up the heat in those areas to generate more sales.
Keeping track of your traffic also will tell you what areas you have promoted to that is not generating any sales or low sales. You can then either abandon these areas if you have tried all promotion methods, or increase promoting there. Do your research - there are some excellent software resources to automate this process.
Network With Other Affiliates
As an affiliate, especially one who is getting started, it is a great idea to network with another affiliates. This is especially beneficial if the other affiliate is a seasoned veteran of sales. The amount of information that you will learn from them cannot be read within any book. Make us of the online forums, teleconferences, mp3's and provided by seasoned veterans of making money online.
With these tips in mind, now is the time to move forward and become the affiliate marketing success story.

Autoresponders Generate Online Profits
If you ask online marketer how to convert website visitors into buyers, most will give you the same answer: the sales are in the follow-up.
It’s much more than just increasing your traffic volume. After all, most of your visitors won’t decide to purchase your products or your services when they first visit your website. But that’s not to say that they won’t be interested in your offer tomorrow or next week, or that they won’t be interested in future offers.
Therefore, it is necessary to get your visitor's email addresses so that you can inform them of current and upcoming offers. You do this by using an opt-in system that invites them to subscribe to your mailing list. By gathering their names and email addresses, with their permission of course, you are now able to contact them periodically with information, usually by sending them an ezine as well as an occasional freebie.
There are no problems as long as you’re only dealing with ten or twenty subscribers, as you could just email them individually. However, such numbers aren't going to make you many sales. You should aim for a mailing list that could reach into the thousands. That number of subscribers would make it difficult for you to prepare individual emails for each name on your list.
The basis of an ideal mailing list, therefore, is an effective autoresponder system that provides the power and flexibility to email your subscribers in a timely and efficient manner.
A mailing list of considerable size powered by a good autoresponder system consistently provides earnings for many Internet marketers. A lot of online businessmen make significant profits from their mailing lists alone.
Okay, but what is an autoresponder system? An autoresponder system is like a digital secretary. It takes care of your subscribers by providing an opt-in system that allows visitors to subscribe to your mailing list. An autoresponder system also takes care of the sending of emails to your subscriber base.
You can prepare your messages in advance, program them into the autoresponder, and preset the intervals by which the messages are delivered. You can even separate your subscribers into various groups. You could have a group for those who have not yet placed an order, for example. You could have another grouping for those who have already made a purchase. This allows you to use two different marketing approaches in dealing with each of the groups.
A good autoresponder system can help you build trust in your products or services. With a good autoresponder, you can also provide an efficient technical support program. If your subscribers email you a question about one of your products, for example, you could preset the autoresponder to reply with a general FAQ to send them the information.
Not all autoresponders are designed the same and much care should be taken in choosing the right one for your particular needs. Here are some questions you should ask before you decide on a particular autoresponder service:
* How many accounts can you create? Some business plans might
require that you have different accounts for different products.
* How many lists can you build? There are also some business plans where you might need different lists for different groups of subscribers.
* How many follow-up messages can you preset? Do you need a lot of follow-up messages or do you know yet? Quite a few autoresponder services provide for unllimited follow-ups.
* How many subscribers can the system hold? And also, how many subscribers can the system respond to?
* How much customization is allowed? You need to be able to personalize your email messages with each subscriber’s name and other customizable information.
* How does the system gather subscriber information? The process should be simple and convenient; otherwise, the visitor will not subscribe.
* Will you be able to send your messages in html and text formats? Most autoresponder services allow both formats.
* Will you be able to track your subscribers for the purpose of target marketing? This my or may not be important to you.
* Is the scheduling system fully automated and flexible enough for your current and future needs?
* Is the autoresponder easy to use? Do they have a demo area so that you can try it out?
Now, does the autoresponder service you are considering provide answers to all of the above questions? If so and if it is offered at a reasonable price, then you should grab the deal as soon as you can.
Remember, if you’re running an online business, a good autoresponder should be one of your primary investments. It could be the key to an excellent conversion rate, more sales and more profits.

Automate Your Internet Business for Passive Revenue In 5 Easy Steps
Automate Your Internet Business for Passive Revenue
In 5 Easy Steps
The amazing growth of the Internet has created new found opportunities for millions of businesses who previously would have never been able to compete in the global marketplace. Yet while the low entry and marketing costs have truly leveled the playing field for many entrepreneurs it has also created a staggering amount of competition.
In fact, the average person, at least, those who live in metropolitan areas, is exposed to more than 3,500 marketing messages a day. That's 24,500 messages a week and 1.2 million each year.
And to make online sales even more difficult, marketing studies have shown that it takes nine or more impressions for your business to be remembered by a potential customer. This means follow-up is essential. But in today’s world this type of relentless follow up for the average business owner is not often practical. Fortunately there is a solution that many online businesses are using every day – online marketing automation.
Imagine being able to capture new leads on your website, build customer confidence through automated sequential responses, deliver products digitally while you sleep and track all of your prospects and clients without lifting a finger. For thousands of online businesses this happens every day.
In today’s competitive environment, automation is not a luxury; it’s a requirement for keeping the competitive edge you need. In fact, the benefits of automation are so numerous you can’t afford to ignore them.
Five Keys to Online Success:
1. Capture Email Addresses. Your list is your goldmine. It is critical to all your marketing and is literally your most valuable asset. To build your mailing list it is essential that you make a compelling offer. “Sign up for my mailing list” is no longer enough. Try something like this: “Free Special Report: The 5 Keys to Dramatically Boosting Your Website Traffic in 30 Days”
Through online automation you can offer digitally downloaded special reports, e-newsletters, mini-educational courses, or free trials to entice visitors to share their name and email. When their data is entered, it is automatically placed in your database and can be programmed to trigger autoresponders which are one or multiple automated messages. Share your privacy policy below your opt-in box as well as assurance that they can unsubscribe at any time. And of course, never spam anyone.
2. Set Up Sequential Autoresponders. A very effective way to build trust with your prospects is to offer a mini-course which delivers content-rich, relevant information to your opt-in subscribers. These automatically-distributed email messages not only provide content, but also motivate prospects to revisit your site for the latest offers. And of course once they click through to your website you can offer more content delivered via audio, video and other multi-media options as well as offers for your products and services.
Since studies shows that 48% of sales people give up after the first contact and 25% after the second, this is a perfect way to make sure your follow-up stays consistent. Best of all, after you program the series it will perform flawlessly for you for years to come. There are many great automated systems on the web like: http://www.EasyWebAutomation.com
3. Take Payments Online. It has never been easier or more affordable to set up online payment systems through PayPal or your own merchant account. And once you set up your payment account it very easy to sell products or services online by purchasing an online shopping cart. A shopping cart will allow you to capture email addresses, automate responses, track leads and then sell you product to customers around the world 24/7. These systems are surprisingly easy to setup, operate and maintain.
4. Track and Measure Your Marketing. Over the years I have trained and coached hundreds of business owners in marketing through my Guerrilla Marketing Coaching Program. Through a series of assessments it has become very clear that most businesses fall short in the area of measurement.
Here are some questions to consider:
1) How many unique visitors come to your website?
2) How many visitors opt-in to your mailing list or order your products?
3) When you send emails, how many are opened and how many people actually click through to your website?
The reason these metrics are so important is because if you don’t know these stats, you won’t know what to improve. It could be variables like the pulling power of your headlines, the copy or navigation on your website. You won’t know until you start measuring. Many of today’s automated systems include ad trackers which automatically calculate your click-throughs and conversion statistics.
5. Free Up Your Time to Work on the Most Important Parts of Your Business
When you automate daily tasks you gain more time to focus on priorities for the strategic growth of your company. This newfound discretionary time comes without your money-making activities coming to a halt, or hiring and training staff.
Also when your business becomes automated, your presence becomes optional leaving you time to actually take a vacation while making money at the same time. With most systems you can quickly and easily check your sales and orders from any web browser.
The Internet is a competitive, ever-changing marketplace. The right strategy combined with powerful and practical systems gives you an edge over your competitors. You’ll attract more customers and spend less time, money and energy winning them over. Automation services and software leverage the best technology available to make you money day and night, whether you’re there or not.

Article Writing: An Important Part Of Your Marketing Arsenal
Unless you are totally clueless about the internet and how it works, you must realise that everyone trawling the net is searching for one thing and that is information, i.e. CONTENT!
In fact there is not really any other business building tool that compares with writing articles when it comes to building your online business, read on to discover why.
Regularly adding keyword rich quality articles on your website will help boost your search engine ranking, as search engines are always looking for updated content to add to their index. Also, other site owners are much more likely to link to you if you provide something other than just one long sales letter.
A constantly updated website with quality content will not only attract more people to your site, it will keep them there longer and will cause them to come back more often. If for example you have a site about health and fitness, would you not check back if the site was constantly being updated with more articles about how to get yourself fitter?
When it comes to FREE ways of generating traffic to your site, there are few that can compare to submitting your articles to article directories and ezine publishers. Simply include a “resource box” at the end of your article and away you go.
A resource box is simply a 3-6 line biography about you and/or your web-site it should include a link to your site or maybe even instructions on how to subscribe to your newsletter. An important point to remember when writing your resource box is to specify clearly that each article is to be reprinted ‘as is’ within your attached resource box.
This method of traffic generation can and will bring you a lot of traffic. Let us say for example you have written a great article about your favourite hobby, and an ezine with a subscriber database of 30-50,000 picks it up. Many of those subscribers will read your article, and if it’s a good quality one may well be intrigued enough to click the URL included in your resource box. That is totally FREE traffic for very little effort; it does not get much better than that!
It is also a good idea if you are adding articles you have written for your website to include a resource box on those articles too. This means that people who visit your site will be enabled to use your ‘copy’ with their sites too, as long as they include your resource box.
Articles can be easily used for generating newsletter subscribers. Simply take a group of related articles and compile them into a ‘special report’ that you then give away as a bonus for subscribing. In the same vein, add articles to an autoresponder sequence and give it away as an ‘email course’. In both cases sprinkle affiliate links throughout the text and link it to an autoresponder to create an “automated income stream”.
You may be aware that having a mailing list is one of the most important ingredients for a successful online business. But, having a list is not enough; you need to build up trust with your list. This is often known as ‘cultivating’ your list.
By regularly sending quality articles to your list you will become viewed upon as an expert in your business field, and build up a level of trust with your subscribers over time. The effect will be that your subscribers will be keen to take up your special offers, promotions and other products and services. The key is NOT to offer your list a product too early in the relationship, just so you can make a quick buck. A list of people that trust you is as good as money in the bank, you should not squander it!
After reading this article it should be clear that writing articles is a sure fire way to helping build your business a lot quicker. With the declining effectiveness of many of the other online marketing methods, article writing will continually prove its worth to YOUR business.

Are You Following up Effectively?
One of the successful methods in online marketing
is collecting visitors' emails in exchange for
a free report or an ebook and follow up with
new products and services.
It's a known fact that 75% of visitors don't
buy on their first visit and it might take
up to 7 follow ups before they buy anything from you.
A well-written follow up letter will do three things:
·improve your response rate
·better your site's ranking with Search Engines
·and increase sales
So, what should you write in your letter that
could do all the three above?
First, create a headline for your follow up letter.
Put yourself in your reader's shoes, would you
click on it if it was in your inbox along with some
other newsletters your reader may have signed up for?
If you would then go with it and make sure that it's
easy to understand and yet enticing enough to get a click.
An effective follow up letter is the one that is written
from first hand, i.e. if you have tried the product,
it would be easier for you to recommend it, because
you would know all the benefits of it.
So, in your follow up letter tell your readers how it
helped you and how it can help them, too. If you
are promoting your own product it's even better, because
you already know how others can benefit from it.
Remember, people always look for solutions to their
problems and want to feel better.
After you have explained all the benefits of the
product place a link to your site if it's your own
product, or to your merchant's site if your are promoting
an affiliate product, warmly recommending them to click
on the link.
Keep your letter to the point, it's important that your
reader gets the message that you are trying to deliver.
Avoid your follow up letter from being too long, because
it might exhaust your reader and they might give up
before they reach the end.
Whatever you promote in your follow up letter it should
in some way pertain to your business, so that your
readers don't get confused when they read your message.
Once you have written it, read it yourself first and
have your friends read it too. If you are satisfied with
it set it to your autoresponder and fire it to your
subscribers. If it's not, then it probably needs some
more tweaking before it goes out to your list.
Your list will become an unlimited marketing source
that you can sell your products to over and again.
So, make sure that you have a reliable autoresponder
that ensures that your messages are delivered to your
subscribers.
Last word of advice
When your sample follow up letter is completed test it
and see if you receive a response rate you want. After
all e-mail marketing is all about tries and tests.

Are You An Internet Marketing Success Story?
No? Do you want to be?
If you do, you can't just focus on one aspect of Internet marketing. What I mean is, don't just think about ad copy or just about traffic generation. It takes an "all around" approach to succeed.
First, and foremost, you must get your website visitors' email addresses. Build your prospect list. Use not only a newsletter, but also use autoresponder ecourses, ebooks and reports. All should be given away; the only "payment" being their email address.
Put the signup forms for these ebooks, etc. on your navigation menu and on the content pages throughout your site. You never know which page your visitors will be seeing when they arrive.
Make each signup page a "sales" page. Why should they want the ebook or report? What are the benefits to them? Make it good.
Have great customer support. What? They're not customers? Well, not yet, but they could be. Treat each subscriber and contact as if he or she is the best customer in the world and that person will be more likely to remain your subscriber.
Provide some way for your website visitors to provide feedback. It could be a community blog, forum, or even just a contact form. Just make sure there is some way that your visitors can communicate with you. Make sure that the link to your contact form is on every page of your website.
These days, I don't recommend adding your actual email address to your site because of all the spam bots. They scour your site for your email and soon your inbox will fill up with junk.
Does your website look professional? If you just have a site full of blinking banners and ads, I don't believe you'll succeed in the long run. You need it to look nice - not fancy - just nice, and have valuable content for visitors. If you do, they'll come back.
What about popups? You can use popup windows, but don't go crazy with them. Personally, I do not stay on a site that has more than one popup. I have been on sites where so many windows appear that you can barely get away from the site. That is just plain rude in my book.
A word about promotion. In my opinion, the best way to promote your website is by writing articles. You need articles for your newsletter and to distribute to article directories and other publishers. This is how you get your "name" out in cyberspace...to the people who matter...the ones looking for good content for their own newsletters and websites.
And the most important key to success? Perseverance. Don't give up at the first problem, or even the second. Find a mentor. Ask questions. Do whatever you have to do...but hang in there! You WILL have your OWN success story!

Affiliate Programs and How To Build An eBusiness Around Them
Affiliate Programs and How To Build An eBusiness Around
Them
By Dennise Ryder, Marketing Coach
http://www.profitspace.com/coach
Two weeks ago, Mariangie Gonzalez sent in a question
"How do you market your Network Marketing business
so yours it's perceived as different from the rest of the reps
out there?"
In answer to her question the way to be perceived as different
was to set up an incentive package that was related to the
general theme of your affiliate or mlm progam. If you missed
out on that disucssion there is a huge blog entry about that
at http://www.profitspace.com/blogger.html.
What I want to do here is back up a bit...a sort of regrouping
you might say and go over what to look for in affiliate programs.
Affiliate programs are the easiest, fastest and most inexpensive
way for ANYONE, regardless of experience to earn money. What
I want to do is provide you with some insight as to what to look for
in a program.
Before we dive in and talk about affiliate programs I do want to
say something about starting a business regardless of whether
it is on or off-line. You NEED to possess passion for what it is
you are doing. If you jump into something for the sake of making
money you are going to end up resenting it. Starting a business
takes a lot of time and energy. If you are involved in something
that you are passionate about and believe in then those hours
don't seem so daunting. If you are in something just to make
a buck...those hours are going to seem very over-whelming to
the point where you hate what you are doing and will soon
resent the business you are in.
So...with that said, if you want to start something online then
look at what you are passionate about and what will juice you.
From there do your research and find affiliate programs that
align themselves to what you want to do.
Ok, let's look at affiliate programs ;o)
The BIG QUESTION...can you make money on-line through
affiliate programs?
Answer....YES
It is totally possible to make money on-line, there are all
kinds of articles and stories about people who have been
successful in making money through affiliate progarms.
It has nothing to do with getting in on the ground floor in
a particular program. It has nothing to do with having loads
of money to market your program. Yup, you are going to
have to have a marketing budget, that is just the cost of
doing business. What it boils down to is looking for programs
that:
1. provide products/services that are in demand
2. provide a recurring commission structure
3. promoting more than one program
4. having your own web site
So..let's look at each one of these and it will give you an idea
as to why these four traits are important to your ebusiness.
1. Products/Services that are in demand. This is pretty obvious.
If you don't have a market for your products/services then you
aren't going to make any money. If you want to know if there is
a market for the products/services you want to sell then do your
research. Look at site's like Overture.com. They have a great
advertisers area that provides you with a search criteria tool.
All you have to do is enter the keyword that is the general
them of your business and it will pop up a list of words that
people have used as search criteria, this will give you an idea
not only of a demand, BUT it will also give you an idea as to
what search terms people use for that general theme.
Another thing is to look at the trends that are happening around
us. Immediately what pops into my head is the fact that we are
getting older and are more health conscious. The health and
nutrition industry is huge and it is also a trend.
Have you every heard of The Popcorn Report? It was a book
written that talks about the trends and where they are heading.
One of the things Faith mentioned was the health and nutrition
industry and cottage industry (home based business) was going
to boom.
2. Commission Structure is key. Ummm, let me give you an
example to hit this home because it truly is important.
You are promoting a hot product from one of the top marketers
that sells for $29.95. You will earn a commission on the sale
of this product of 50% (let's say it works out to about $14.00
so I don't have to strain over math here). It's a one-time sale
which means after that sale is made you are having to go out
and find others to buy. You are always having to work your
butt off to get a "sale" for that product.
NOW...here is another example.
You are promoting an affiliate program that pays monthly,
something like ProfitsVaultMonthly, then this is what happens.
PVM is $29.95 per month and you earn money:
1. $20.00 PER MONTH per referral
2. You keep every penny you earn from selling the products
With the $29.95 product you are earning $14.00 for all your
marketing efforts in getting that sale. That's a one time
commission, make the sale and scream "next" to find yet
another buyer.
With a program that pays MONTHLY, you are earning $20
per month for that same customer, next month you earn
another $20 and so on. Get two join your affiliate program
and you're covering your own cost plus making a bit of a
profit.
Bottom-line go for those programs within your industry that
pay you a monthly residual commission. That way you are
earning money from the SAME customer base. If you are
going to spend hard earned money marketing your program
then you want to make sure that you are getting paid off
those efforts EVERY MONTH...not just a one time deal.
3. Promote more than one program. If you are promoting
just one program and no one buys from you then you aren't
making any money...pretty straight forward right?? But, if
you promote a few different programs that relate to the over-
all theme of your business then you stand a better chance
of making a sale. Let me give you an example:
I want to target the newbie ebusiness owner and provide
them with the tools they need to start a business on-line.
So...I think and ask myself "what does a newbie need?"
They need a web host, an autoresponder, something to
sell, leads, a list and incentive products. So, with that
information I set out to find those products/serivces and
set up a site...a NEWBIE MECCA you might say. Now
if I only set out to promote one of those progams and a
newbie already has it, then basically I just shot myself
in the foot...BUT. What if they didn't have an autoresponder
and saw that I had one that I promote, or they needed leads
or they needed to learn about using incentive products to
build a list. I just set myself up for the possibilities of
making money by offering a host of products/services and
not just limiting myself to just one.
See where I am going with this??
It takes more than just ONE income stream to make money.
You need to set yourself up with several ways to make money.
If a visitor doesn't need one product/service then you stand to
make something by offering other products/services that relate.
4. Your own site. You NEED a hub. I like the word hub actually.
I got the idea from the University of Alberta while I was a student
there. There was a central area within the University that had a
dry cleaners, barber, hair salon, and a couple of food kiosks and
a little general store deal. The Unversity tagged this as the HUB.
I am using HUB to describe what your site should be. YOUR
central area that promotes the programs you are affiliated with,
a landing area for your visitors where you can build your lists,
promote your program incentives, provide content that will help
your visitors...etc.
Now you are probably thinking "but, my affiliate program provides
me with a web page already to go."
Yup, they do. However...
1. are you able to make any sort of adjustments to that page that will
enable you to promote an incentive so that you can stand a part from
the pack?
NO...
2. MORE IMPORTANTLY...are you able to offer a report or eCourse
so that you can build your own list?
NO...
3. are you able to promote other programs, so if your visitor isn't
interested in that specific program you stand the chance of being
able to make a sale through another program?
NO...
That's three strikes right there.
Here is a fourth one for you to think about, if the above three weren't
enough. Let's say you quit a program, you quit that web page is gone
no big deal there. But, that means you are again having to start over
from scratch. IF however, you had your own HUB, you can add to or
discontinue programs BUT you still have your list building mechanisms
in place and you still have other programs that can bring in money. You
aren't always finding yourself starting over again from scratch.
Ok, one last thing I want to show you and then you can think about what
you just read ;o)
If you are a member of a mlm program you essentially have two
customer streams. You have those customers who are buying your
product AND you have those in your downline. Essentially you have
two different markets rolling at the same time, each with their own
specific needs. Your customers of course want your products and
you are selling them along with other things that tie in for that bunch.
You also have your downline which of course have the same products
as you...but their needs are a little different. They need guidance from
you as well as other things...like:
1. a web site of their own
2. a list building mechanism
3. leads
4. autoresponder
Are you seeing where I'm going with this???
YOU have the potential to create an even greater number of income
streams. You have this little market that will need these products
and services in order for them to do business...just like you. So,
find those services that will meet those needs for them and promote
them to your downline.
There you have it, the four main traits that, if you put them into place,
will put you in a better position to make money with your affiliate and
mlm programs.
This isn't rocket science and it works. Again, if you follow the steps
of the super affiliates you will find that these are the very same 4 traits
that they have in place. They don't have an inside track to anything
that you don't. Yes, they have been at it longer than you but that's
about all, they had to start from somewhere as well.
The ONLY difference that perhaps stands between YOU and THEM
is that they actually did what we just discussed above. They went
out and found products/services that had a good market size. They
went out and found affiliates programs that tied in and paid them a
monthly recurring income. They found more than just one program
to promote...AND they created their own HUB.
The blueprint is there for you ;o)
A great book that will help you peg yourself unique and different from
the rest of the pack is..."Super Affiliate Strategies...How to Generate
More Sales, Profits and Commissions For ANY Affiliate Program. It is
a good read and has some very valuable ideas inside. Check it out for
yourself http://www.profitspace.com/sas

me with a web page already to go."
The blueprint is there for you ;o)

the rest of the pack is..."Super Affiliate Strategies...How to Generate
